The Mind of A Spartan #1

Michigan state football. Enough said right? I don’t think so, I could go on and on about how great they are. I know many may disagree but in my eyes they are. Well it helps that ever sense I came out of the womb I have been a diehard Spartan fan.  If you could see the color of my blood, guaranteed it would be green and white. You can just name off a list of great players that stepped through the tunnel into Spartan stadium such as, T.J Ducket, Plaxico Burres, La’veon Bell, Darqueez Denard, Lorenzo White, Tony Mandarich, and many many more. The past few years have been great for state fans. Sense 2013 our record is 36-5 with winning the rose bowl in 2013, winning the cotton bowl in 2014, and making it to the first final four playoff experience in 2015. Ohh and did I mention 3 of the last 6 big ten titles. Most of the success we have been having you can put all on our coach Mark Dantonio. Even some of the college football analysis have placed Michigan state as one of the recent powerhouse programs, mainly because of Dantonio. He started off being a decent pro coach at the Cincinnati Bengals and then decided to come to Michigan State in 2006. When football season rolls around the hairs on the back of my neck stand up from excitement. Every Saturday you can find me on my couch watching the game or going out with my friends enjoying it somewhere. Unfortunately, most of my friends are on the dark side with Michigan, so it makes watching games with them interesting with lots and lots of trash talking. The best thing that happened to me recently was going to tailgate for the Michigan vs Michigan state football game last year. We all know how that ended right? If not ill remind you real fast, we blocked a punt at the end of the game and returned it for a touchdown…..and won. With the few State fans that I went down with we were so ecstatic with joy, just looking around at all the hurt Michigan fans brought smiles to our faces. Alright enough about that game, in my blog I will giving you guys a inside view of the Michigan state Spartans football team with recaps of the games, stats, news, basically anything to do with the team.
